Actor Naga Babu has slammed industry colleague Balakrishna where in the latter accused of not getting invitation for talks with Telangana government and passed on remarks that those who participated are having land-grabbing talks. This irked Naga Babu who demanded apology from Balakrishna and questioned him over his comments that were in poor taste. “Balakrishna should control his tongue,” said Naga Babu.
“By doing this, he has disrespected the Telangana government and the film industry. He should know his limits and apologise for defaming their efforts,” he added. Meanwhile, minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said, “I am yet to know what he (Balakrishna) said. I will comment only after I get complete information. We met several people who are active in the film industry. I am ready for the dialogue and have no objection to meet anyone representing the Telugu film industry.”
On the other side, producer C Kalyan has refused any camps in the industry, adding that Balakrishna has been given updates what all is happening. He said, “We are doing everything as a team. This is not an actors meet. We have requested Chiranjeevi to lead from the front. Balakrishna is like my brother and he has been informed about these developments. There are no camps in the industry. We have no political affiliations either. If Balakrishna wants to attend a meeting, who can stop him?”
