Kalki 2898 AD part 2:
Kalki 2898 AD featuring Prabhas in the lead role, is currently enjoying a successful run in theaters. Director Nag Ashwin has revealed exciting details about the film’s sequel in an recent interview.
Nag Ashwin explained that during the early stages of production, the decision was made to expand Kalki 2898 AD into a two-part film. He shared, “Early in production, not even halfway through, it expanded into a two-parter. We have the script of what it was as a single film.”

Addressing rumors that 60% of the sequel has already been shot, Ashwin clarified, “It’s not 60%, I would say. We shot about 25-30 days of the second part, but there’s a lot left to do.” He stated that significant preparation is still required before filming can continue, mentioning the need for designing and action planning. “There’s still so much prep left to do in terms of just again designing and action. The whole thing starts again. It’s a long journey to just prep before we even start getting actors back on set,” he added.
