Despite a decline in viewership after the festival weekend, the initial numbers have rescued the film for its buyers. Nagarjuna, known as ‘King,’ has added another hit to his record during the festive season, following Soggade Chinni Nayana (2016) and Bangarraju (2022).
However, the film has faced challenges in maintaining strong numbers over the past week, indicating that its run in theaters is nearing its conclusion. On a positive note, there are rumors that the movie is set for an early digital premiere. Disney Plus Hotstar, the platform that acquired the digital rights at a reasonable price, is contemplating a digital release on February 15, 2024. Discussing the movie itself, Naa Saami Ranga is an official remake of the Malayalam film Porinju Mariam Jose (2019). Directed by choreographer-turned-director Vijay Binni, the cast includes Nagarjuna, Allari Naresh, Raj Tharun, and Ashika Ranganath.
