Known for his innovative films, Tamil director Murugadoss has a decent craze in Telugu too. He is coming up with ‘Sarkar’ in the first week of November and fans are expecting nothing short of a blockbuster. But, he is facing allegations for writer Rajendran that ‘Sarkar’ is a copy of his ‘Sengol’.
This is not the first time Murugadoss landed up in such incident. His sensational hit ‘Ghajini’ was a clear inspiration from Christopher Nolan’s ‘Memento’. Even during the time of ‘Kaththi’, he was accused of copying the story from writer Gopi and the matter was reportedly settled outside the court. Even his films like ‘Stalin’, ‘Thupaki’ had some copy scenes.
Coming to ‘Sarkar’, Rajendran complained to the Madras High Court over this issue and the court gave the makers time till 30th October to prove him wrong. Apart from that, Rajendran demanded 30 lakhs from Sun Pictures and Murugadoss. With all this issue surrounding, it is to be seen whether the film releases on time or not.
