Murky politics in Andhra Pradesh politics is rearing its ugly head. On Friday, Nandamuri Taraka Ratna collapsed at the event while he was accompanying Nara Lokesh’s padayatra. TDP workers and leaders gathered at Kuppam and immediately rushed Taraka Ratna to the hospital. He later shifted to Bengaluru’s Narayana Hrudayalaya for better medical aid. However, docs hinted that the next 48 hours are going to be critical.
The moment the incident took place, a video pertaining to Taraka Ratna being rushed to the hospital went viral on social media. The ruling party in AP, the YSRCP, allegedly launched a murky campaign projecting as if Taraka Ratna is no more. Sakshi media has reportedly changed the narrative as it ran stories the incident has set a bad precedent to TDP’s election campaign. Social media handles said the incident would serve as a bad omen to Lokesh’s padayatra.
Meanwhile, a report from the doctors extending medical aid to the actor says that 90 per cent of Taraka Ratna’s left side heart valves got blocked, and his sugar levels are as high as 400.
