Mr Bachchan OTT Ravi Teja’s latest action film, Mr. Bachchan, directed by Harish Shankar hit theaters on August 15, 2024. The movie is a Telugu remake of the Bollywood film RAID starring Ajay Devgan. However, this Ravi Teja did not meet expectations at the box office. Despite its theatrical failure, Mr. Bachchan is now scheduled for an OTT release. As per the latest reports film will be available on Netflix, starting September 12, 2024.
Mr. Bachchan is inspired by a real-life income tax raid on industrialist Sardar Inder Singh. The film blends this true story with dramatic cinematic elements to create an engaging narrative. Bhagyashri Borse, making her debut in Tollywood, plays the female lead alongside Ravi Teja.
Before its theatrical release, Netflix secured the digital streaming rights for the film for a substantial Rs 33 crore. Although the movie received negative reviews and poor box office returns, it is now poised to reach a broader audience through its digital release.
The movie features a cast that includes Abhimanyu Singh, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and Kishore Raju Vasistha. The production is handled by Vivek Kuchibhotla and T.G. Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner. The film’s music is composed by Mickey J. Meyer, with Ayananka Bose as the cinematographer and Brahma Kadali as the Art Director. Harish Shankar, who directed the movie, is known for his dynamic storytelling and action sequences.
