The three-decade-old saga of the Movie Artists Association (MAA) has reached a milestone by entering into a historic tie-up with the Bollywood Artists Association thanks to the concerted efforts of the MAA president, Vishnu Manchu.
Vishnu Manchu has started the mission of uniting all the film industries of India. Tamil/ Kannada/ Malayalam/ Hindi industries have come forward agreeing to the proposal Vishnu has proposed. In lieu of this, MAA and Cinetaa (Hindi Film and TV Association) have signed a pact.
The pact will usher in a new wave of fraternity between the artists of the Telugu film industry and the Bollywood fraternity. Terming the development a “cordial move”, Mr. Vishnu Manchu said that the concord between the MAA and Bollywood Association would provide membership to the Bollywood artists who work in Telugu films, and vice-versa.
The tie-up will also facilitate the Bollywood counterparts to enjoy crucial benefits such as health scheme and arbitration from the MAA in case of any disputes arising while working in the Telugu film industry.
