Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to grace the silver screen once again, this time in the much-awaited remake of “Vedhalam,” aptly titled “Bhola Shankar.” The film is primed for its grand release on August 11th, creating a buzz of excitement among fans and movie enthusiasts.
However, upon the release of the film’s trailer, a segment of the audience voiced their opinions, labeling the trailer as “cringe-worthy.” In response to this feedback, Meher Ramesh, the director of “Bhola Shankar,” addressed the concerns during promotional interviews.
He candidly acknowledged that “Vedhalam,” the original source material, was itself fraught with elements that could be perceived as cringe-worthy. Ramesh emphasized that his team has undertaken substantial alterations and adaptations to tailor the Telugu version to suit the preferences of the audience.
But now that Tamil fans have been trolling him so much, he has made a statement cleverly and tweeted that Vedhalam is a film that he loved and is proud to bring it to the audience. “Bhola Shankar” marks a significant milestone for Meher Ramesh, as he returns to the director’s chair after a hiatus of 12 years.
