As Chiranjeevi starrer Bholaa Shankar gets ready to hit theatres on August 11th, there’s growing anticipation. The family-focused drama is directed by Meher Ramesh, who is returning as a director after a break.
Chiranjeevi is out promoting the film and shared why he decided to do another remake after God Father. Chiranjeevi says, “I had decided not to do any more remakes after God Father. But the producers suggested I consider remaking Vedalam, as it’s not well-known among Telugu audiences.
In the movie, Chiranjeevi plays a cab driver against the backdrop of Kolkata. Keerthy Suresh plays his sister, and Tamannaah Bhatia is cast opposite him romantically for the first time.
The film’s buzz is not great, but with today’s pre-release event, the makers hope that the hype for the film will be skyrocketed. The music for the film is composed by Mahati Swara Sagar.
