Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming projects: Fantasy, comedy and action
Megastar Chiranjeevi is embracing a fresh approach by stepping away from his signature mass-action roles and exploring unique concepts. He is collaborating with young directors to present diverse stories. One of his upcoming projects is Vishwambhara, a fantasy film directed by Vassishta Mallidi, known for Bimbisara. This film represents a significant genre shift for the star and is just the beginning of an exciting lineup.
In addition, Chiranjeevi has reportedly signed an intense action drama with director Srikanth Odela. Produced by Natural Star Nani and Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas, the film carries the tagline, “He finds his peace in violence,” hinting at a gripping thriller.

Before working on the action drama, Chiranjeevi will collaborate with Anil Ravipudi, known for hits like F2 and F3. This film, produced by Shine Screens, is expected to be a family entertainer, highlighting Chiranjeevi’s impeccable comic timing. Ravipudi, fresh from the success of Bhagavanth Kesari with Balakrishna, is currently completing Sankranthi KI Vastunnam with Venkatesh. Once this project wraps up, he will focus on Chiranjeevi’s film.
Chiranjeevi’s upcoming slate offers a blend of genres: a fantasy adventure, a family comedy, and an intense action drama. After the underwhelming performances of Acharya and Bhola Shankar, these new projects have reignited excitement among fans, who are eagerly awaiting his return to form.
Speculation is also rife about Chiranjeevi teaming up with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, a self-proclaimed fan of the star. If this collaboration happens, it is expected to create a massive impact at the box office.
