Chiranjeevi and AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy seem to harbor internal egos, evident in their interactions. Despite Chiranjeevi’s attempts to mend relations, Jagan hasn’t provided an opportunity. Recent events suggest an indirect social media feud between their respective fan bases.
Just after a couple of days Chiranjeevi received Padma Vibhushan, a grand felicitation ceremony for Megastar Chiranjeevi and other Telugu Padma Awardees took place in Hyderabad, with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy as the chief guest. However, reports indicate a lukewarm response from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy towards Chiranjeevi.
Speculations arise that Chiranjeevi words in Telangana felicitation expressed his dissatisfaction with Jagan’s response during his speech.
Some say Chiranjeevi indirectly showed he was not happy with Jagan’s response in his speech. When talking about the Telangana Government honoring artists, Chiranjeevi began by saying, “Where artists are respected, that state prospers.” Later, he praised Revanth Reddy, highlighting that no government had honored artists so promptly after award announcements.
Mega fans sharing this video are commenting that Chiranjeevi showed great respect for Jagan Mohan Reddy in the industry, even though he’s a rival to his brother, Pawan Kalyan. Unfortunately, Jagan didn’t respond in kind.
Sources reveal that Jagan only issued a formal press note and did not personally wish Chiranjeevi after the awards announcement. Chiranjeevi’s comments are viewed as disappointment toward the Andhra Pradesh Government’s response. Given Chiranjeevi’s monumental achievement, a proper response from Jagan would be respectful and in his own interest.
