Geetha Govindam is all set to hit the screens on August 15 and the teaser has evoked a fantastic response. Starring Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, the film music has been an instant hit with Inkem Inkem Kavale watched over 27 million views on YouTube. And now the makers are planning a pre-release event in Vizag on August 12 at the famous RK Beach. The event will have Megastar Chiranjeevi as the chief guest for Vijay Deverakonda’s film.
Chiranjeevi To Grace Pre-release Event In Vizag
Recently, Allu Arjun graced the audio launch of Geetha Govindam which was a success. It is worth mentioning that the second single’What The F‘ song sung by Vijay Deverakonda landed into controversy, however, the makers have removed it from the YouTube to avoid unwanted attention. It is learnt that the song would be released again with changes in the lyrics which have hurt some religious sections. Song lyricist Srimani issued a statement over this. The film is directed by Parsuram and bankrolled by Bunny Vyas under GA2 Pictures Banner by Allu Arvind.
On the other hand, the lead actress Rashmika also got entangled into controversy and was trolled for romancing her co-actor Vijay. To this, Rashmika said, ” Male actors romance other heroines even after getting married, but people have no problem with that just because they’re men! It’s like if a woman romances a guy onscreen after marriage, she loses her respect. It’s disgusting that people think this way. I left the trollers a message asking them to DM me personally and not annoy my fans. There were many who were jealous that I was acting with Vijay and that I’m engaged to Rakshit”.
