Max OTT release:
Max starring Kiccha Sudeep was one of the biggest Kannada releases of 2024. The film directed by Vijay Kartikeyaa hit theaters in December and quickly became a blockbuster. After weeks of speculation, the makers have now confirmed its OTT release.
Fans were eagerly waiting for the digital release after its box office performance slowed down. Initially there were rumors that the film’s OTT rights had not been sold, but the makers clarified that Zee Network had secured both the satellite and digital rights. The television premiere was scheduled for February 15 on Zee Kannada and now, the OTT release has been confirmed for the same day on Zee5.
In Max, Kiccha Sudeep plays Arjun Mahakshay, a police officer returning from suspension. His first night back on duty turns chaotic when his team arrests two criminals, triggering a chain of events that he must resolve before dawn. The gripping narrative and Sudeep’s powerful performance have made Max a must-watch for action lovers.
Despite facing production delays due to bad weather, the film was completed and initially expected to release near Sudeep’s birthday. However, it finally hit theaters as a Christmas release, clashing with Upendra’s UI. Now, with its simultaneous TV and OTT premiere, fans can experience the thriller in their preferred way.
