RRR is a big film and has been made on a whopping budget of 320 crores. So, the film needs a solid start as the money involved is very huge for the makers.
In Telugu states, the distributors have spent a lot to buy the film and as per the trade, the film has to make 187 crores to breakeven in the first place. Whatever it makes from there will be profits for the one who bought it.
The Nizam rights were snapped for a whopping Rs 72 Crore. The Andhra deal was closed for 90 crores, and Ceded (Rayalaseema) went for Rs 35 crore. These agreements were done much before and that is the reason they are very high.
