Following its theatrical run, discussions have revolved around the movie’s debut on digital streaming platforms. It’s been reported that Aha Video acquired the OTT rights for this suspenseful thriller featuring Priyadarshi in a significant role. However, the official announcement regarding the streaming date and platform is yet to come from the filmmakers.
Set in a village, fear grips the residents due to mysterious Tuesday murders. The narrative revolves around Shailu, a young woman at the center of these incidents, despite having already committed suicide. The story delves into uncovering the truth behind these murders and the enigma surrounding Mangalavaaram and Shailu’s demise.
The latest update suggests that Mangalavaaram is expected to start streaming on digital platforms by the last week of December, presumably on December 22. Reports indicate that Disney Plus Hotstar has secured the multi-language streaming rights, while Aha Video holds the Telugu rights. However, an official confirmation is eagerly awaited.
The film stars Payal Rajput as Shailu (Shailaja) alongside Nandita Swetha, Divya Pillai, Ravindra Vijay, Chaitanya, Ajay Ghosh, Sritej, and others. Ajay Bhupathi wrote and directed this dark thriller, produced by Swathi Reddy Gunupati and Suresh Varma M under Mudhra Media Works and A Creative Works banners. Notably, B Ajaneesh Loknath composed the captivating background score and music, while Sivendra Dasaradhi handled the cinematography and Madhav Kumar Gullapalli served as the editor.
