In a tragic incident, a man committed suicide by jumping before the milk tanker which belongs to TTD. The incident happened in the wee hours of Friday. The deceased is said to be around 50 to 55-years-old and other details are to be ascertained.
The incident was captured on the CCTV cameras. At first the officials and nearby people thought it to be an accident, but after watching the footage the officials concluded that the man purportedly jumped before the Pala Mitra lorry and ended his life. The incident creted panic among the public making the officials to cancel all darshans of the Lord. The temple was reopened after performing rituals like Suddhi as per the advice of the temple Agama advisor Ramana Deekshitulu
