Director of Rakshasudu, Ramesh Verma had been trying his best to get a suitable girl for Ravi Teja, the hero of his next film which is apparently a remake of another Tamil movie. Sadly, Pooja Hegde, Kiara Advani’s managers didn’t even reach out to the offers made by Verma. Since Sruthi Hassan is already working with Ravi Teja in Krack, the only option they had was Malavika Mohanan.
The actor had a bad time with her debut film in Telugu film industry, ‘Hero’ with Vijay Devarakonda was shelved after some part of the film was shot. She reportedly showed no interest in working in the film despite having a good role and being offered interesting money. As usual the reason for non availability is that she had no dates to allot. She is currently committed to Master, that has Thalapathy Vijay in the lead and Vijay Sethupati as the villain. So it will be a while before Malavika picks another Telugu project, till then it is Bollywood calling and yes, the film with Vijay is already reserved for her.
