Shiva Niravna starrer Majili that released on April 5th is running successfully in the domestic market. Starring Samantha and Naga Chaitanya thew film generated the right buzz in pulling youth and family audience to the theatres. In fact, Majili gave a boost to Chay’s slumping career and went on to earn nearly Rs 25 crore in the first week at the domestic market.
Having said that, the same is not with Majili in the overseas market. The film opened to good response but the film hs slowed down and Majili breaching USD one million mark looks difficult. So far, Majili gross stands at $718k and by the weekend it has chances to rake in $800k. Meanwhile, Sai Dharam Tej’s Chitralahari has created a record in his career minting collected USD121k the highest in the star’s career.
