Kaira Advani, who made her Tollywood debut in Mahesh babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu and then went on to star in Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama, has made a bold statement on liplocks.
Kaira is busy promoting her upcoming film, Kabir Singh, the remake of Telugu hit Arjun Reddy. The romantic drama features an intense and passionate liplocks between the Kaira and Shahid. Ask her about the liplock scene, she says it’s the pretty normal way to express someone you love through a kiss. “Kabir Singh is an innocent raw love story, so you are seeing two people who are as real as it gets. As far as the lip-lock is concerned, it’s a very normal way of showing someone how much you love them — with a kiss” says Kaira.
Kaira further underlines that the kiss scenes were incorporated not “for the heck of it”, stating, “When you will watch the film you will not even realise that there is a lip-lock in the film. We have not put anything and everything in the film just for the heck of it. There is no dance or item song, there is no revealing, there is none of that. Our director is somebody who is very real and pure to the script.”
