Mythri Movie Makers was one film production company that zoomed on the fast lane durng the last couple of years with hit after hit. They appeared set to challenge the supremacy of the industry’s big gang of four. But, post-Rangasthalam, they became adventurous and began experimenting. Both Savyasachi and Amar Akbar Anthony that they made ended up as disasters. They splurged on these films and have suffered huge reversals. Now, they are cagey about investing. They want to invest wisely and recover some losses.
As result, their ambitious yet project with star Mahesh Babu is all but dead. If sources are to be believed this film, which was to be helmed by Sukumar, isn’t taking off. Mahesh is said to have rejected Suku’s storyline and reportedly asked him to come up with another story. So, Mahesh wants to use this time to make a quickie with Anil Ravipudi.
But, some sources tell us that it is not Mahesh Babu who rejected Sukumar, but it is the Mythri Movie Makers, which cancelled the project as they have decided not to make big budget movies for some time. Currently, the Mythri group is busy with Dear Comrade of Vijay Devarakonda and the project with Vaishnav Tej.
