Superstar Mahesh Babu is all set for the release of his 25th film- Maharshi. The film holds special for the Murari actor as it is considered as his milestone film and has had often called it special. The actor has now in an interview opened up his family and professional life, tor recent gaffe of his speech at the Maharshi pre-release event.
Namrata is my life: Mahesh
Ask Mahesh how much weightage he gives to his family in his success, Mahesh is quick to give the complete attribute to his wife Namrata and kids -Gautam and SItara., He says, “Namrata has made me who I am today. She is my strength, backbone, my life. My success, my sanity, my joy — none of it would not have been possible if it weren’t for her and for my kids”.
Mahesh over Sukumar and Puri Jagan
At Maharshi pre-release event, Mahesh made a gaffe of not mentions Pui Jagan and taking an indirect jibe ta Sukumar. When asked him over the controversy, Mahesh calls it as an honest slip-up, adding he never prepares his speeches and believes in spontaneity.
Speaking about Sukumar, he said, “Sukumar put his faith in me for Nenokkadine, which received a fair amount of critical acclaim even though it didn’t do very well at the box office. In my opinion, in fact, Nenokkadine was truly way ahead of its time. What makes the film even more special for me was the fact it features my son Gautam, who played the younger version of my character in the film”
Speaking about Puri Jagan, Mahesah said, Puri sir allowed me the opportunity to star in Pokiri which, as everybody is aware, was a turning point in my career. I will forever be grateful to him for that”
