Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), the sensational music composer, hosted his first live concert in Hyderabad, drawing much attention and excitement. The event was promoted heavily, with invitations extended to top political figures like the chief minister and deputy chief minister. While many enjoyed DSP’s energetic performance, a portion of Mahesh Babu’s fanbase expressed disappointment.

The main issue for Mahesh Babu’s fans was the lack of focus on the actor’s songs. Particularly, fans were upset that the popular Who Are You track from 1-Nenokkadine was left out of the playlist, although the concert did feature the background score from the film’s climax. Instead, DSP gave more prominence to songs from films starring the Mega Family, including hits like Shankar Dada MBBS, Gabbar Singh, Pushpa, and Rangasthalam.

Some fans felt DSP favored the Mega Family films over others, as 26 of his 105 composed films belong to them. However, DSP’s supporters quickly came to his defense, arguing that the criticism was unnecessary and unfair.

Aside from the song selection, the event faced criticism for high ticket prices and poor arrangements. Audience members complained about a lack of proper seating, which caused discomfort for many. Despite these issues, DSP’s performance was widely appreciated, though the event could have been managed better to avoid these criticisms.
