The much-awaited Maharshi trailer is out. The theatrical trailer was launched during the Maharshi-pre release event by Victory Venkatesh, who graced the occasion as a special guest. Maharshi introduces us to the world of Rishi, played by Mahesh Babu. The two-and-a-half minute video shows Rishi who has no fear of losing and wants to rule the world. Mahesh announced trailer release on Instagram with the caption, “Welcome to Rishi’s world”.
We get to seen three shades of Rishi, from being a mischievous college goer to a swanky businessman who is a top billionaire to playing a commoner stepping into shoes of a farmer. We also get to see Prakash Raj and Jayasudha, who apparently appears to be Rishi’s parents. And then we get a glimpse of Pooja Hegde, who is the love-interest of Mahesh and then Allari Naresh, Rishi’s bestie.
Allu Sirish heaped praises on Maharshi trailer. The ABCD actor tweeted, “#Maharshi & his two shades : lovely to see @urstrulyMahesh sir in yet another commercial yet meaningful role. My best wishes to dir Vamsi, @ThisIsDSP bro & the whole unit. Perfect summer treat! 👌”. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the film has been shot in Goa, Dehradun and the US among other locales. Maharshi is all set for release on May 9th.
