Maharshi starring Mahesh Babu in the lead released on Thursday and most of the audiences and critics have commented that the duration of the movie is high. Since the length of the film is high, a lot of people said that it is boring to sit throughout the movie.
The makers are aware of the same but the director Vamsi justified the runtime of the movie saying that he wanted to elaborate on the journey of Rishi turning Maharshi. Now, the latest insight from the sources close to the film unit is that they are going to add new scenes in the movie.
Apparently, ten more minutes is said to be addes to the movie. As of now, there is no clarity on this as some say that the makers can not take such a bold decision to increase the run time of the film beyond three hours.
A formal confirmation on the same is awaited.
