Summer season is the biggest film release season after Sankranthi. So, the viewers and film lovers would be eagerly waiting for this season soon after the Sankranthi releases are done and dusted. In both April and May, there would be several releases every weekend. In April, releases are scheduled every weekend. Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi ‘s release date is now confirmed.

Though originally the film was to release on April 5, it would now be released on April 25. According to Dil Raju, there still some pending work, hence the rescheduling. On April 12, Saidharam’s Chitralahari would be released. Suriya’s dubbing film NGK too would release on the same date.
Nani’s Jersey and Tamil dubbing film Kanchana 3 would be released on the same date. Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi has no competition.. Thus there are six releases in April. Of all these, Maharshi is the biggest and the most-awaited project. There would soon be clarity about the May releases.
