Story:
The biopic on legendary actress Savitri charts the journey from her childhood to her transformation as a star and then her downfall. It all began, how she with her widowed mother move live with her uncle and aunt, portrayed by Rajendra Prasad and Bhanupriya. How her uncle forces her to learn dance and then take up acting, as there’s a handsome money involved in it. How she lands an opportunity in movies and what happens aftre she weds Gemini Ganeshan. what made her find solace in a drink and her last year forms the crux of the story.
Technical:
The producers Swapna and Priyanka Dutt deserve kudos for putting a top-notch production value. Right from the costumes to intrinsic details, it is evident how the back-end team left no stone unturned to get the right details and information for the team. Keerthy nailed her part and proves that no other can fill her shoes. Samantha and Vijay had a strong role and played their portions well. Coming to Dulquer, his debut film is no doubt a dream movie for any artiste excelled in his role.

A must watch to relive for the moments for the older generation and younger lot
