Macharla Niyojakavargam Movie Review

Macharla Niyojakavargam is Nithin’s latest film that has hit the screens today. Read our review to find out if the film has any juice in it or not.

Plot

Siddhu(Nithin) is an IAS officer who gets posted to Macharla. The city is dominated by Rajappa(Samuthirakani) and he does not allow anyone to contest in the elections. Siddhu takes things in hand and makes Swathi’s(Krithi Shetty) grandfather to contest the elections. Who wins the bad versus good battle is the story.

Performances

Nithin has matured a lot as an actor and he can carry off a mass role with ease. He fights well and makes sure that the fans get what they expect. Krithi Shetty gets a meaningful role and she shines. Catherine Tresa is just there for the sake of it. Murali Sharma and Rajendra Prasad are boring to death. Main villain Samutirakani is very good as the bad guy.

Analysis

Nithin has been looking for a film to make a solid comeback. So, he has given a chance to Rajasekhar Reddy, a new debutante who was once an editor. But sadly, the director has failed Nithin and his team badly by making the film very badly.

The film has an age- old story and makes no sense. The first half is filled with cringe comedy and has nothing to cheer about. Vennela Kishore is okay but he also overacts which bores the audience. The songs are the only solace in this film and they look good.

Music and BGM are effective and the camera work is good. But the second half falls flat and one gets a feeling that you are watching a film from the 70’s. There are no twists, no hero villain moments and whatever showcased is so routine that you get frustrated.

Nithin has failed to take up a subject that will please his fans. He has succeeded in showcasing himself as a mass hero but in this process has made a very bad film in his production which the audience will not engage at all.

Bottom Line – Joke on the audience
