Dulquer Salmaan is gearing up for his next big project, the pan-India film “Lucky Bhaskar.” Recently, the makers unveiled the film’s first look, giving us a glimpse into the character played by the versatile actor.
In the unveiled poster, Dulquer Salmaan is portrayed in a middle-class avatar, wearing spectacles and surrounded by a cascade of money notes. Positioned at the center, he is shown walking with purpose, carrying a bag – possibly indicating a role as a bank employee.
Sithara Entertainments, the production house behind the film, took to social media to share the poster and expressed excitement, stating, “Here’s the first look of our ambitious #LuckyBhaskar! Story unfolds in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil & Hindi at the theatres near you, soon!”
Scheduled to commence filming in October 2023, “Lucky Bhaskar” revolves around the theme of “An Ordinary Man’s Ascent to Unbelievable Heights!” Meenakshi Chaudhary joins Dulquer as the female lead. The film, produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, promises a captivating narrative.
The anticipation for the movie rose after its announcement on Dulquer’s birthday last July. The initial poster hinted at a potential period setting and a financial scam narrative, with Dulquer peeking through old Rs 100 notes.
National Award-winning GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music, and Navin Nooli is handling the editing for this grand-scale production. While the release date is yet to be disclosed, “Lucky Bhaskar” is expected to hit theaters this summer, promising another impactful performance from Dulquer Salmaan, who recently impressed audiences in the Netflix series “Guns & Gulaabs” and is lined up for exciting projects like “Thug Life” and the rumored sci-fi drama “Kalki 2898 AD.”
