Lucky Baskhar locks it’s OTT date
Lucky Baskhar, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary, is set to make its OTT debut after a successful run in theaters. Released on Diwali, October 31, the film has garnered positive responses despite stiff competition from other movies. Speculations suggest that Lucky Baskhar will begin streaming on Netflix by November 30, although the filmmakers have yet to confirm this date.
Directed by Venky Atluri, Lucky Baskhar is Dulquer Salmaan’s third Telugu film, following Mahanati and Sita Ramam. Set in the 1980s, the movie tells the story of a frustrated middle-class banker who is tired of being overlooked at work. To escape his financial troubles, he turns to money laundering, leading to a series of dangerous conflicts that upend his life.

The movie has performed well at the box office, collecting Rs 36 crore globally in just three days. After earning Rs 11 crore on its first day, it grossed Rs 12 crore on the second day and Rs 13 crore on the third day. By the end of its opening weekend, it is expected to earn between Rs 47 crore and Rs 51 crore globally.
Lucky Baskhar faced competition from several other releases, including Brother starring Jayam Ravi, Amaran with Sivakarthikeyan, and Bloody Beggar featuring Kavin. Despite the tough competition, the film continues to perform well, and fans are eagerly awaiting its digital release on Netflix.
