Despite the failure at the box office, the makers have secured a deal for the film’s digital release. The streaming platform Aha has acquired the OTT rights for “Love Me—If You Dare.” Aha has invested a considerable amount to release the film early on their platform. According to reports, the movie is expected to be available on Aha either on June 15 or June 22, 2024. However, an official announcement is still pending.
Dil Raju’s extensive promotion efforts couldn’t save “Love Me” from its fate. The movie was pulled from several theaters by evening shows on its release day, highlighting the audience’s negative response. Vaishnavi Chaitanya, known for her performance in “Baby,” starred as the female lead, but her presence didn’t help the film’s fortunes. The film had been postponed twice due to re-shoots of several scenes. Now, the buzz in film circles suggests that the digital release might be on June 22, 2024, but this has yet to be confirmed.
“Love Me” boasted some big names, including MM Keeravani as the music composer. However, the songs and background score faced criticism and did little to enhance the film’s appeal. The production design was the only aspect that received some praise.
