The concept of Kalki 2898 AD, set in the year 2898 AD, is an intriguing blend of futuristic elements with the epic Mahabharata. This imaginative narrative has been crafted by the young filmmaker Nag Ashwin. The film is set in the dystopian city of Kashi and follows Bhairava (played by Prabhas), a bounty hunter aiming to reach the Complex ruled by the Supreme Yaskin. The plot thickens with the introduction of Ashwattama, who is on a quest to find SUM 80 and her child. Bhairava’s mission to capture SUM 80 brings him face-to-face with Ashwattama and other formidable adversaries.
