The Telugu audience has also got used to web series in the last two years or so and one more web series that has now come out is Lol Salaam. Read on to see if the series has any juice in it or not.
Plot
Lol Salaam is the story of five friends who plan a getaway in the forests. Their car breaks down and the friends keep walking towards their destination. One of them accidentally stamps a landmine and things become crazy. How will his friends save him is the story.
Performances
The cast is filled up with all new guys and most of them do well in their characters. But the guy who does the role of Babai stands out. He evokes a lot of fun in his role. There is also the character of Khan who irritates big time and there are so many such guys in the film.
Analysis
The show is about a group who gets with a landmine. This looks so good on paper and was supposed to be told in a satirical manner. The first two episodes establish in a good way as the humor angle is pretty good and is native.
But from there, the series goes off-road and becomes way too silly. The friends are not serious about their partner who is standing on a landmine. Silly comedy is dragged and the manner in which things unfold gives you an instant headache.
There is no logic in the series and the proceedings are dragged for no reason. The director Naani has tried way too hard to create a fun situation in a deadly catch but that backfires him big time and makes this series a boring and silly attempt in recent times.
Bottom Line – Time Waste
