DMK chief Karunanidhi‘s health has deteriorated according to latest reports. The DMK patriarch who has been admitted at Kauvery Hospital over a week has contacted jaundice due to which he is having a breathing problem. The officials said that due to the ailments and keeping his age view it’s becoming challenging for them.
“He is on continuous monitoring and being treated with active medical support. His response to the medical intervention over the next 24 hours will determine the prognosis,” the hospital issued statement.
Karunanidhi Health Turns Serious
Karunanidhi was admitted at the Kauvery hospital in Chennai’s Alwarpet on July 28, where the doctors said that he was limping back to normalcy. “There was a transient setback in the clinical condition of Kalaignar Dr.M. Karunanidhi, DMK president and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. With active medical support, his vital signs are normalising. He continues to be closely monitored and treated by the panel of expert doctors,” a medical bulletin issued by Dr. Aravindan Selvaraj, executive director, Kauvery Hospital, said.
