Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is all set to reveal truths on March 29. Lakshmi’s NTR got a new release date, instead of March 22, it will be now releasing on Mach 29. RGV tweeted, “Get Ready to know all the truths on March 29 the #LakshmisNTR”.
Earlier, RGV balmed Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has refused to certify the film till the elections kick off, however, he later said that to be a misunderstanding. “Your application cannot be processed further for examining till the first phase of polls are held on 11th April 2019, in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh,” the CBFC statements read. Furious over CBFC statement, RGV took out his ire on social media stating, “There has been an unfortunate misunderstanding between our office and the CBFC which has now been cleared ..The CBFC is now doing the necessary action as per the laid down procedure ..Hence our press meet against the CBFC is cancelled ..Jai NTR (sic)” However, RGV soon ended his rant terming it be as a misunderstanding. By refusing to watch #LakshmisNTR by assuming what might be in the film , It is clear that CBFC is over reaching its authority in trying to favour someone pic.twitter.com/JS6HlpWn9Y
