Telangana minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) has responded to the tweet by actress Meera Chopra where she had complained about the harassment meted out against her by the fans of Jr NTR. In a tweet, KTR wrote, “Ma’m, I have requested @TelanganaDGP and @CPHydCity to take stern action as per law based on your complaint”.
Apart from KTR, Bagaram actress tagged Kavitha and Hyderabad police and urged them to investigate thoroughly. “I have been abused of gangrape, acid attack, abused, cyberbullied and slut-shamed by your state. @hydcitypolice has filed an FIR and I hope for the safety of women this will be investigated thoroughly (sic),” Meera tweeted.

Earlier in the day, Meera said that she is not able to fathom the silence of Jr NTR. She questioned the actor asking him why he can’t put out one tweet and ask his fans to end this. The actress was verbally assaulted after in an Q and A on Twitter said that she is not a fan of NTR, when asked by a user. Thing things thing then snowballed by Jr NTR fans attacking Meera.
