Konda Surekha’s actions spark new controversy in Telangana
Konda Surekha, a cabinet minister from Telangana, has recently been involved in several controversies. Her remarks against prominent figures like BRS Working President KT Rama Rao and actors Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Samantha sparked outrage. The entire film industry condemned her statements, calling for an apology. In response, both Nagarjuna and KT Rama Rao filed defamation cases against her.
While this issue was still being discussed, Surekha became embroiled in another controversy. This time, the conflict was with her party’s own MLA, Parakala Revuri Prakash Reddy. The incident took place in Warangal during a Dasara celebration, where supporters of Konda Surekha clashed with Prakash Reddy’s followers over a hoarding that didn’t feature his image. The tension escalated, leading to the police intervening and arresting Surekha’s supporters.
In an attempt to free her supporters, Konda Surekha visited the Geesukonda Police Station, where she sat in the Circle Inspector’s chair and issued warnings to the officers about the arrests. A video of her seated in the officer’s chair, speaking to the police, quickly went viral, causing an uproar on social media. Many people criticized her for disrespecting the authority of the police by sitting in a position that wasn’t hers.
This latest controversy has further tarnished Konda Surekha’s image, with the public and social media users condemning her actions and questioning her behavior as a public figure. The video and photos of the incident continue to circulate widely.
