The sudden demise of a debut director AV Arun Prasanth has left Kollywood fraternity in a shock. As per reports, Arun Prasanth died on Friday while he was heading to Mettupalayam from Coimbatore. He was travelling on his bike and reportedly he lost control of his vehcile which then rammed into a stationed lorry leaving him dead on the spot.
Arun Prasanth was awaiting for the release of his maiden film, 4G which stars s GV Prakash Kumar in the lead. Before turning a director, he had worked as an assistant to director Shankar, and had worked with him in films like Vikram-Amy Jackson movie I among others.
Saddened by the untimely demise of Arjun, GV Prakash wrote, “I am devastated by the news of the death of my director Venkat Pakkar, a nice brother who is always friendly and confident, in a road accident. My deepest condolences to his friends and family who are shattered by this loss. May his soul rest in peace”.
Meanwhile, Shankar also extended his condolences. He wrote,.“Heartbroken by the sudden demise of the young director and my ex-assistant, Arun. You were always sweet, positive and hardworking. My prayers are forever with you and my deepest condolences to your family and friends”.
