Kissik vs Oo antava:
At a recent promotional event for Pushpa: The Rule in Chennai, the eagerly awaited song Kissik was launched. This track aims to recreate the energy of the hit song Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava from Pushpa: The Rise. The song has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad and sung by Subhalakshmi. Featuring Allu Arjun and Sreeleela, the visuals are vibrant and filled with energetic dance moves.
The chemistry between Allu Arjun and Sreeleela is eye-catching, supported by colorful visuals and a lively group of background dancers. While the song is catchy and grows on you after a few listens, it remains to be seen if it can achieve the same iconic status as Oo Antava.

The lyrics of Kissik have a playful tone with double meanings, which is typical of item songs in Indian cinema. Subhalakshmi’s singing is a surprising choice but fits the vibe well. However, the choreography by Ganesh appears basic in the lyrical video, leaving fans curious about how the full song will look on screen.
Sreeleela looks stunning and has put in a commendable effort. However, many believe she falls short of matching Samantha’s sizzling performance in Oo Antava. Some viewers feel Samantha’s performance was more mature and appealing, while Sreeleela’s style caters more to younger audiences on social media.

In the Hindi version of the song, while fans appreciate the dance moves, the lyrics have received criticism. Lines like “Thappad Maarungi” have been called unintentionally funny, diluting the song’s intended seductive charm.
For now, Kissik is a good addition to Pushpa: The Rule’s album, but it’s unclear if it will create the same excitement as the first film’s songs. Fans will have to wait and see how the song fits into the movie’s storyline.
