The #MeToo movement that started in Hollywood, gained momentum back home in 2018. With women calling out their sexual predators from different fields – entertainment, to journalists to business among others, the thing is still being discussed. Meanwhile, Kabir Singh actress Kiara Advani has made bold comments on Me Too stating nothing has changed post the moment.
“It’s not like #MeToo happened and the world changed. We don’t live in a post #MeToo world. We live in the #MeToo world. We are not there yet,” Kiara said. She added, “Now it’s shaking. We have always suppressed it. But now we are finally having these uncomfortable conversations. It’s high time we did. Everything has to start with a conversation.”
