After Bigil, Tamil star hero Ilayathalapathy Vijay will be working with young director Lokesh Kanagaraj for his next film. The film is expected to go on floors mostly in the first quarter of 2020. The makers are currently working on the casting of the female lead in this movie.

Earlier, Rashmika Mandanna was approached to play the heroine role. The actress accepted it initially but had to move out due to the clash in dates. Later, Kabir Singh fame Kiara Advani was contacted by the makers but we now hear that even Kiara has turned down the offer due to the packed schedules.

Kiara is currently busy with half a dozen films in Hindi and has no time to look down the South. Without any option left, the producers are now searching for another heroine. It is a bit surprising to see that a star like Vijay is struggling to get a heroine for his film.
