Actor-turned-director Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Malayalam hit film Lucifer is all set for Telugu remake, which will be produced by Ram Charan. Starring Chiranjeevi, Saaho director Sujeeth is helming the project. The Konidela’s were reportedly impressed by the young filmmaker and despite being a two film-old he managed to impress Chiranjeevi. Run Raja Run has been working on the script and has made changes to suit the nativity of the Telugu audience.
According the latest reports, Khushbu Sundar is all set to reunite with Megastar Chiranjeevi. Yes, you read it right. The makers have approached her to cast her for the role of Manju Warrier. As per the details, she is impressed by her role and film concept. She has given her nod to be part of the film, however she is yet to sign on the dotted lines. Previously, Chiranjeevi and Khushbu have worked together for AR Murugadoss’ film Stalin. The Malayalam film starred Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi, Manju Warrior, Tovino Thomas, Saikumar and Nyla Usha which was a political drama. In the Telugu remake, Chiranjeevi wil step into the shoes of Mohanlal.
On personal front, director Sujeeth got engaged to Dr Pravalika on June 10. The engagement pictures were all over the social media. According to reports, Sujeeth’s wedding is likely to take place in 2021 after he wraps up Lucifer.
