One of the happening filmmakers in the Indian film fraternity, Prashanth Neel has announced his next film Salaar a few days back. Star hero Prabhas will play the lead role in this movie. The makers have announced this film as an ‘Indian Movie’ and made fans go confused about the original language of it.A few months back, Prashanth Neel stated that his next film will be a Kannada one and he will not make a film in any other language.
But now, he has announced this new project with Prabhas, who is a non-Kannada hero. This made fans criticize Prashanth Neel for the decision.The director refused to be drawn into controversy and stated that he cannot comment on it today but he will definitely give an answer when the film hits the theatres. However, the director is getting a lot of negativity for not standing up to his statement. Currently, Neel is busy with the works of his upcoming release KGF Chapter:2. We hear that Salaar will go on the floors in 2021.
