Keerthy Suresh, the acclaimed actress who has won the National Award, is ready to make her Hindi film debut. The talented and beautiful actress will be starring opposite popular Hindi actor Varun Dhawan in the official Hindi remake of Thalapathy Vijay’s blockbuster cop action drama, Theri.
The latest updates reveal that Keerthy will be portraying the same role essayed by Samantha in the original Tamil version. Shooting for this exciting remake is expected to begin in August. The makers have announced that the film, which is yet to be titled, is set to hit theaters on May 31, 2024.
The Hindi remake of Theri is helmed by Tamil filmmaker Kalees. Notably, the remake is co-produced by Atlee, the director of Theri, and Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, along with Murad Khetani, the producer of Kabir Singh. It’s worth mentioning that Theri is also being remade in Telugu as “Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” with Pawan Kalyan taking on Vijay’s role.
