His next film is Freddy that is being produced by Ekta Kapoor. What’s special in this film is that Karthik will be seen in a dark negative role in this film. When asked about the same, Karthik says “I look forward to dwelling in the world of Freddy and bring alive this dark romantic thriller. It also marks my first collaboration with visionaries like Ekta Kapoor which makes things even more exciting”. Freddy will be directed by Shashanka Ghosh and he says that Karthik will shock everyone with his stunning makeover.
