One of the foremost reasons for Baahubali’s immense success in the North is Karan Johar. The backing of this director-producer, has helped the film to reach wider audience of North India. With the stupendous success of first part, Karan announced few months back that he is going to distribute Baabhubali 2 also in North. But of late, things seem to be not going well between Karan and producers of Baahubali and reports are coming in hinting that this top B-town director is leaving the distribution rights of Baahubali 2.
The news that came in yesterday has added fuel to this rumour. Yesterday, a official press note was released by the makers of Rajinikanth-Shankar’s 2.0 about the first look launch of the film which is scheduled to be released on November 20 in Mumbai. In the note, it was stated that Karan Johar will be hosting this event at Yash Raj Studios. Everyone wondered why is Karan promoting a movie which he has no relation with. According to some sources, Karan is planning to buy the distribution rights of 2.0 by leaving Baabhubali 2. In fact, even 2.0 has same hype and buzz as Baabhubali because of the big names like Shankar, Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and AR Rahman involved in it. Anyways, let’s wait for an official confirmation.
