‘Kannappa’ is one of the most awaited films of the year, not just for its grand scale but also for its impressive cast. Recently, the makers have added another big name to the lineup: Kajal Aggarwal.
For those who don’t know, ‘Kannappa’ is Vishnu Manchu’s dream project. The movie is about Kannappa, the biggest devotee of Lord Shiva, with Manchu playing the lead role. Alongside him, several major stars have been given crucial parts in the film.
Kajal Aggarwal Joins the Cast
According to trustable sources, Kajal Aggarwal has been confirmed as part of the ‘Kannappa’ project. Kajal is well-known for her roles in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi movies, and this film will be another significant addition to her career. However, her specific role in ‘Kannappa’ has not been revealed yet.
This isn’t the first time Kajal Aggarwal and Vishnu Manchu are working together. They previously shared the screen in the 2021 film ‘Mosagallu,’ where they played siblings. That movie was moderately successful in theaters.
Besides Aggarwal and Manchu, ‘Kannappa’ features other big names like Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar in key roles. Prabhas will make a special appearance as Nandeeswarudu, and Akshay Kumar is set to portray Lord Shiva. Although more details about their characters haven’t been disclosed, it is known that both Akshay Kumar and Prabhas have finished their filming parts.
Kajal Aggarwal is expected to join the shoot after she completes promoting her upcoming movie, ‘Satyabhama,’ a Telugu crime thriller set to release on May 31, 2024. Directed by Suman Chikkala, ‘Satyabhama’ tells the story of ACP Satyabhama, who investigates a missing person’s case uncovering dark secrets in the town.
