Kanguva OTT Release:
The Tamil epic fantasy film Kanguva, directed by Siva and produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, premiered worldwide on November 14, 2024. Starring Suriya in dual roles, the movie also features Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, and K.S. Ravikumar. This high-budget film, made with ₹300–₹350 crore, was released in 3D and IMAX formats.
Reports reveal that Kanguva will be available on Amazon Prime Video starting December 13, 2024, just weeks after its theatrical debut. It will be accessible in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, English, and Spanish. However, official confirmation of this release is still pending.

Suriya plays dual roles as Kanguva and Francis Theodore, while Bobby Deol is the antagonist, Udhiran. Disha Patani stars as Angelina. Other notable actors include Yogi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, Kovai Sarala, and K.S. Ravikumar. The film also features a special cameo by Anirudh Ravichander in the song “Yolo.”
Directed by Siva, the film’s screenplay is co-written by Adhi Narayana, with dialogues by Madhan Karky. The technical crew includes composer Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy, and editor Nishadh Yusuf.
Kanguva was first announced in April 2019 but faced delays due to the pandemic and scheduling issues. Filming resumed in August 2022 and wrapped up by January 2024, covering locations like Chennai, Kerala, Goa, Kodaikanal, and Rajahmundry.
