Controversy’s favourite child Ram Gopal Varma has been in the news over the controversy surrounding his upcoming film, Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu. A petition was filed in the Telangana High Court to stall the release of the film. The petitioner identified as Indrasena Chowdary has said that the film has been made against Principles for Guidance in Certifying Films under Clause 5-B of the Cinematograph Act and it also violates Article 19 of the Indian Constitution.
“If the movie releases, there is every possibility that their followers will become angry, leading to public disorder in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh”, the petitioner added.
