Kalki 2898 AD second weekend collections:
“Kalki 2898 AD” has experienced a significant boost in its second weekend at the box office. Directed by Nag Ashwin and starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, the film saw an 85% increase in its Saturday earnings compared to Friday. After earning Rs 9.25 crore on its second Friday, the movie is projected to bring in between Rs 16.50 to 17.50 crore on the following day, pushing its 10-day total to approximately Rs 183.25 crore.
The film has been performing well across both single screens and multiplexes in Hindi-speaking regions. This growth suggests that “Kalki 2898 AD” will soon join the Rs 200 crore club within just 11 days. Despite a slight dip in ticket sales during weekdays, there has been a resurgence in single-screen viewership, indicating a strong ongoing interest. If this trend continues, the film is likely to cross the Rs 250 crore mark, and potentially even reach Rs 300 crore, making it a blockbuster.
Furthermore, “Kalki 2898 AD” is on track to become the highest-grossing film in Hindi belts, surpassing “Fighter,” which collected Rs 201.50 crore. The film was acquired by distributor Anil Thadani for Rs 100 crore (including GST) on an advance basis and is expected to generate significant returns.
Globally, “Kalki 2898 AD” aims to achieve a total collection close to Rs 900 crore, with hopes of joining the Rs 1000 crore club. However, much of its future success will depend on its performance after the release of “Indian 2” on July 12.

– Week One: Rs 157 crore
– 2nd Friday: Rs 9.25 crore
– 2nd Saturday: Rs 17.25 crore (Estimate)
