Kalki 2898 AD OTT: The much-awaited science fiction film Kalki 2898 AD features an impressive lineup, including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this film attracted audiences by merging elements of mythology with futuristic sci-fi themes garnering significant attention since its theatrical release.

Released on June 27, Kalki 2898 AD has been a box office sensation grossing over Rs 900 crore worldwide. The film’s release in six languages has enabled it to reach a diverse and wide-ranging audience earning widespread praise. The movie’s stunning visuals and its unique blend of mythological and futuristic themes have sparked considerable discussion among viewers.

Recent updates indicate that Kalki 2898 AD will soon be available for streaming on Amazon Prime and Netflix. Amazon Prime will offer the film in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada all with English subtitles. Meanwhile, Netflix will stream the Hindi version also with English subtitles. Although initially slated for a late July digital release the film’s outstanding box office performance has led to an extended theatrical run.

Currently, the film is expected to arrive on OTT platforms in the second week of August. Latest reports suggest that Amazon Prime will begin streaming the movie on August 15. However, the Hindi version may experience a delay with Netflix planning to release it around the second week of September.

With a budget of Rs 600 crore, Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. By the end of its theatrical run, it is anticipated to generate over Rs 1000 crore in revenue. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film features notable performances from Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, with supporting roles played by Disha Patani, Saswata Chatterjee and Shobhana.

The film’s story explores a futuristic world deeply intertwined with mythology, a concept that has intrigued and captivated audiences. Director Nag Ashwin has hinted at even more ambitious themes for the sequel suggesting that the story will continue to expand and evolve.
